Faith, Love & Laughter

We have been so blessed thus far to have witnessed, first hand, the miracle of life. And to be apart of the ensuing growth and seemingly endless metamorphosis of our little Ava! She is a joy, like no other, to have at home. Sometimes I wonder who is learning from who. She seems to teach us new things about ourselves all the time. Her charm and her beautiful smile are already making me nervous as I once was a young man in search of a beautiful smile.

Ava is very much like her Mom and Dad, she loves to be on the move and seems to be relaxed in the presence of any background noise. She smiles and grunts alot in her sleep so we assume her mind is very active even during rest.

Thinking of our child, Michelle and I began to converse about our dreams and aspirations for Ava. After some back and fourth about expected times in the 400meter dash and proposed institutions of higher learning we came to the conclusion that we wanted only very simple things for Ava. Those being FAITH, LOVE, & LAUGHTER. It is my hope that the only influence she get from her parents be that of a solid foundation upon which to build a little girl into a beautiful woman. God help us to be those parents.

  1. Chris and Michelle,

It is evident that you will be and are wonderful parents. Both of you have grown together in faith and are strong and united as one. Ava is blessed to have both of you as her parents. Remember, God intended Ava to be with the both of you and the both of you to be her parents. It was already written. This is His plan coming into fruition. You will provide that solid foundation for Ava (and her siblings - when they get here) to be not only a beautiful woman but a strong woman with values, faith, love and plenty of laughter. We love you and are proud of you, Kevin, Dianne and the boys (all 3 of them)
