Ava is going to be a Big Sister!!

Even with a new "Big-Girl" bedroom (Thank you Aunt Gael for the beautiful decor and valances!) and bed, Ava doesn't seem to understand the concept of having a younger brother. I am not quite sure if she realizes that Mommy's belly is getting bigger and bigger with only 8 weeks to go!

Ava is definitely getting to be a big girl with a very adept mind. One puzzle at a time is too mundane and only takes about a minute so she is on to 4 at at time!

She has recently started to enjoy everything "Princess" from dressing up to books to movies! Recently we took her to see The Princess Wishes on Ice and she absolutely loved it!

She certainly is blooming into a beautiful, fun-loving girl.

FIRSTS!!

We have had many firsts lately with Ava. She fell and somehow flipped around and got her first black eye. The kind that looks worse as it is getting better! Another first that parents try and forget is her first temper tantrum in public! We didn't give in and still made it out of the store without being totally mortified. Her most memorable first was receiving her first bike (Thank you Uncle Roddy!!). As you can see she absolutely adored it. We expect her to be riding up and down the street by the end of the summer.
