Ava Goes Camping

Here are a few photos and a video from Ava's first camping trip. We went to a resort near Skyline Drive in Luray Virginia. The facilities were great and the views all around were amazing. She really enjoyed hanging out by the fire and sleeping under the stars! We also went swimming, took a really nice hike, hunted some geocaches, bounced on the moon bounce, and tasted some rocks! Ava is a natural survivalist!!

Rhode Island

We had quite a busy weekend in Rhode Island. Ava did better than expected for the 8 hour drive and the multiple days without her two daily naps!! The days were packed full of fun!!

We went for a beautiful walk on the cliffs.

We had a fun day at the beach/lake.

Singing in the Rain

Everyone's done this or at least should once in their life. Ava had a blast dancing in the rain in her skivies and willies!!

Learning

WOW! It is amazing how much a child can change. Just two short months ago Ava's vocabulary consisted of about 5 words. Now she can point and call out many everyday items in her First Baby Words Book; tree, plane, car, socks, shoes, hat, swing, slide, bike, clock, birdie, meow (cat), mmoooo (cow) and plenty more. She can even point out people she knows from a photo; the cutest is how she says her two cousins names: Hollie, Ollie and Phiona, No na!! She really fascinates us daily!
